This chat above outlines how case selection advice works with orthobrain. The Treating Dentist had a patient that clearly needed orthodontic care, but wanted to consult with orthobrain on whether or not they should move forward with this case. With orthobrain, we have decades of experience and are ready to walk through any case with you from start to finish.

Treatment Goals: Straight teeth, beautiful smile

Question: Screening to see if a good first case?

Treating Dentist

This patient has #11 that could become ectopic. Hence, I would suggest orthopedic expanders as a first step rather than braces. The process of integrating orthopedics as part of your practice right now could be disruptive. I suggest that you find a more optimal patient to start. Patients ready for Aligner or full braces are a better place to start. Use the link to schedule a call or video conference if you wish to discuss in detail. (Calendar link)

Good to hear your voice! Thanks for the video explanation. Very helpful. We did have some concerns about the max cuspids. This young lady is the daughter of one of my dental assistants. Knowing that and that I am interested in treating her, if you think we can do this let me know and lets move forward. I expect that we will be submitting many more cases very soon that will be produce more ideal first cases as well. Thanks again and stay warm!
